Somewhere in your house there is a drawer, a shoebox, or a folder labeled "Important." You know the one. It holds the water heater warranty, a car title, last year's insurance renewal, and a receipt that mattered enough to keep but not enough to remember why. Occasionally there is also a birthday card, a spare key to something, and a coupon that expired in 2019.
The problem was never that you are disorganized. It is that life produces paperwork faster than anyone can reasonably file it — and the moment you actually need a document is always the worst possible time to go looking for it. The appliance breaks on a Sunday evening. The adjuster asks for a policy number over the phone. The mechanic needs proof of the extended warranty you are almost certain you purchased. In each case, the cost of not finding the document quickly is measured in money, time, or both.
We built Unfoggable to end that search.
What Unfoggable is
Unfoggable is a private vault for your household's critical records. Every document you add is read, understood, and filed automatically — the vendor, the date, the amount, the expiration — so that months later, one search brings it back in seconds. You do not need to name files carefully, create folder structures, or remember which category something belongs to. The work of organizing happens in the background, without you.
There are two ways to get documents in, and both take less effort than the shoebox:
Forward an email. Your account comes with its own address, like firstname.lastname@unfoggable.com. Send a receipt, a policy, or a booking confirmation there and it lands in your vault, parsed and ready to search. You can do this at the moment the email arrives, so nothing slips through later.
Upload anything. Snap a photo of a paper document — a handwritten receipt, a lease agreement, an insurance card — or drop in a PDF. Unfoggable does the reading, extracts the relevant details, and files it alongside everything else.
What it does with them
Filing is only the beginning. Because Unfoggable understands what each document is, it can quietly do the follow-up work you would rather not think about:
Warranties are tracked from the receipts that prove them, so you know what is covered and for how long before you pay for a repair you did not need to pay for.
Bills surface their due dates instead of hiding them in paragraph three of a dense PDF — useful when you are managing several recurring accounts across different providers.
Expirations — insurance policies, vehicle registrations, passports, IDs — come with a nudge before the deadline, not a penalty after it. A reminder two weeks out is considerably more useful than one two days out.
Your household can share one vault, so the answer to "do you have the…?" is always yes, regardless of who originally filed it or where they are when you need it.
Built like it holds your important things — because it does
Your documents live behind two-factor authentication, are stored privately, and are visible to exactly one party: you. We do not sell data, share records with third parties, or use your documents to serve advertising. Your vault address also only accepts mail from senders you have approved, so unwanted messages cannot find their way in alongside the things that matter.
